The Michigan Peach Festival is the perfect place for a summer road trip. The Peach Festival started in Romeo in 1931, and it’s been happening since. Believe it or not, it’s one of the oldest festivals in the state. You can enjoy parades, races, crafts, and more at the upcoming Peach Festival.
According to the festival website, the festival will be held in multiple locations in the downtown area of Romeo. It will be held over Labor Day weekend, and there are several events and activities planned for 2017. For instance, last year featured a beer pavilion, live music, raffles, and more.
Though the upcoming schedule is still in progress, there are several events that are expected. These include the 5k and 10k run, car shows, a parade, craft show, bed race, and KidFest. The Peach Queen will also be crowned. The 2016 winner was Emilee Wichtner.
Last year also features free SMART Shuttles to help you get around town. Here at Romeo Ford, we can’t wait for the upcoming event. As one of the most popular events in the area, we’re excited to see the turnout for the 2017 Peach Fest. Make sure to come to the upcoming event!
