As we close out 2017, many people find themselves making all kinds of resolutions for the New Year. This year, we think car owners should make some resolutions in regards to their car and driving habits. Since we all spend a lot of time in our cars and on the road, here are some recommended New Year’s resolutions for car owners from us at Romeo Ford.
- Extend your self-care to your car: Maintaining your car is an important resolution. Many serious car issues are a result of a lack of proper maintenance. For instance, change your oil every 3,000-5,000 miles, check your tire pressure regularly and make sure your tires are in good shape, and have regular tune-ups. Talk to a dealership, service center, or consult your owner’s manual to find out the proper maintenance routine for your particular vehicle.
- Save money by being a more fuel-efficient driver: This year, make fuel efficiency central to your driving and start changing your driving habits into smarter, more efficient ones. Avoid speeding and unnecessary acceleration, plan your routes ahead of time, and use cruise control to help maximize fuel economy. This will keep your pocket and the environment happy.
There are tons of potential New Year’s resolutions for car owners, so be creative about it!
