The Ford Ranger is back and better than ever. Back in 2017 at the North American International Auto Show, Ford announced that it would be bringing back a mid-size truck lineup, starting with the Ranger. Nearly a year later, the 2019 Ford Ranger is stepping out into the spotlight. With a distinct Ford look and capable features, the new Ford Ranger is bound to impress any pickup owner.

According to Road and Track, the Ford Ranger design isn’t just for show. The fully boxed, high-strength steel frame has six cross members to support heavy loads. The chassis is built with a double A-arm front suspension with monotube dampers, and there’s a leaf-spring system in the back with a solid rear axle. There are also frame-mounted steel bumpers, bash plates, tow hooks, and multiple cab options. In short, the Ford Ranger is truly tough.

Other great features on the new Ranger will include things like the FX4 Off-Road Package, which features undercarriage protection, all-terrain tires, and status updates on the pitch and roll of the truck. The featured engine is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine that has Auto Start/Stop technology, and that’s mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission—a class-exclusive feature.

When the Ford Ranger arrives at Romeo Ford, we’ll be sure to let you know. We’re excited for its return!
