October is finally here, which means it’s time to put out the candy corn, turn on Hocus Pocus, and eat as many pumpkin-themed foods as you can consume in one sitting. It also means it is time to consider how you will be spending Halloween in Romeo. There is plenty to do leading up to the holiday, but we at Romeo Ford all agree on one recommendation: Terror on Tillson Street.
Tillson Street is located here in Romeo. The families who occupy—or should we say haunt?—all the houses on the street agree to decorate them every year for people to view throughout the month of October. While some houses may be decked out earlier in the month, Tillson Street is worth visiting in the final week when more decorations will have made their way out into the front yards. But the best night to view Terror on Tillson Street? October 31, for sure.
You can find more information on the history of this month-long event on the website, as well as associated costs (hint: it’s free!) and parking info, among other frequently asked questions.
